Instructor Training

At WTK, we are here to help those students that wish to make Karate an even larger part of their life!

Whether you would like to simply assist with classes, become an assistant instructor, or open your own karate studio someday, WTK can help you reach those goals with the Instructor Program!

By becoming an instructor in training, you can begin learning the best practices and proven methods for teaching others both the physical and mental aspects of Karate. Instructor Trainees quickly learn how to speak well in front of a group, teaching concepts, and the various ways that humans learn. Instructor Trainees often improve at work/school due to their practicing their public speaking at WTK. They also have a special status and badge at WTK, and have special authorities and duties at our school. Ages 12 and over can become either a Junior Jo Kyo or an Adult Jo Kyo.
